Rooland launches its “Green Guide” for business on eve of World Environment Day, June 5.
The Rooland Green Guide is a free, downloadable resource from rooland.com for businesses keen to be green with branding or packaging design projects, but who aren’t sure how to go about it.
Compiled over years of sourcing the best options for Rooland, our Green Guide takes the hard work out of caring for the planet. Whether it’s sourcing vendors pursuing environmental practices, eliminating excess material (known as ‘rightsizing’), manufacturing and transporting the finished product using renewable energy, or ensuring materials used are recyclable and biodegradable, the Rooland Green Guide has it all covered.
Founder and Director, Suzanne Haddon, is the driving force behind this initiative which aims to help Illawarra businesses to not only think green, but to act that way too. “Rooland practices what we preach; we’re really proud to work in an eco-friendly office here in Towradgi that lessens our carbon footprint. This Guide is all about making it easy for businesses to make changes that will have a positive impact on the environment. The impact of prioritising green practices is so much bigger and we can help business owners and their teams navigate towards greener solutions, showing even small changes can make a really create a sustainable community here in the Illawarra.”
